Fall table fair in Mo.
« on: November 23, 2014, 12:46:33 am »
Went to the back pond to see if any Ducks or Geese were on it, and on the way picked a plastic bag half full of Persimmons, the hard frost and s--- we had last week made them just right mmmm. All the leaves haven't fell off the sassafras trees yet so the saps not all down yet. A drop or two of honey on the persimmons is hard to beat, and when i take the tractor back and pull a couple of sassafras trees up for the roots to make tea with honey in it, on a cold night in front of the fireplace makes you glad to be alive O:-). Hey Perry do you have these trees up yonder? Jack

About 5 this evening I found myself snoozing in the recliner, feet in warm winter socks and near the woodstove, warm tea with a shot of brandy in it. zzzzzzzzzzz bliss
