Excellent idea! It's good to teach those about bees, while they are enjoying the honey  :)

My daughter has a gardening group page on fb called Here We Grow. I like to post bee stuff on there ~

Bearding bees are in a very calm state.  You can pick up a section of beard with your hand.  They slowly wake up in your hand and you can let then walk off onto the landing board.  It's a really neat sort of thing.  I had my 4 year old daughter try it, she found it fascinating.
My advice: worth price charged :)
