We have had perfect amounts of rain and sunshine along with not too searing of sunshine.  The white clover is hanging in there pretty strong this season.  I really think it will help with honey flow and production this season.

Exactly the same here Blue.   I wait as long as I can before I mow, and a couple days after I mow, the dutch clover is poking up out of the grass again...

They seem to hitting it pretty hard here.  I took a short video of the honey bees and bumbles.  There is a honey bee every 18 to 24 inches.  It's like a mine field!  I got a little carried away bothering the bumbles.  I have a healthy population around here somewhere.  They were hitting the cone flowers, anise and those crazy purple flowers, whatever they are.  So, you you can enjoy the bumbles or turn it off after the clover.  ;D

Nice cover crop, when it gets to its end will it come back for a second crop if you cut it?

We cut the front property every week and the back property about every other week.

Thanks River! I like cone flowers too!  I have a few white/pale ones too.  I have to resist the urge to pet those bumbles.  Fuzzy and chunky critters.

Thanks for posting blueblood.
Very enjoyable.  I started a 100 sq ft pollinator garden a few years back.  I have added to it and it has filled in over the years.  I have counted about 6 different native bees and a wasp all working out there at one time.  Every time I look I see something I haven't seen before.  Yesterday, for the first time, I saw the tiniest little bee with pollen baskets so full, I don't know how she ever got airborne.  The goldfinches check daily to see if the coneflower seeds are ready to eat.  Never a dull moment.  Very rewarding.
