not real atm..   I have read where some folks are making an attempt to do this, but what I remember seeing was cumbersome things twice the size of bumble bees that they were trying to refine both down to size and the coding that operates them.

Stone, I know right!  If you watch it a couple of more times you really get the gist of what the producers are trying to say. That robotic bees could replace our bees and actually kill them. That in fact technology went Too Far. I suppose on the Star Ship Enterprise there would be robotic bees  :D
