I got lucky to, will be married 56 years come June 6, 2015.( hope the two of you make it this long and longer) I can't figure out how she makes the wax circle the candle from top to bottom??. By the way, you might give some thought to whats going through her mind while shoveling SNOW.   Jack

I'll be she's thinking of snuggling with her handsome hubby with a nice hot toddy after a nice dinner that he cooked... and a Quentin Tarantino movie.

LOL on the snow shoveling! 19 years is a record nowadays jack.........being married to someone who practices primarily in family law makes my head spin at the crazy stuff; the average, falls into two categores; 1~ marriages lasting 0- 3 to 5 years (yep 3 days)  and 2~  longer, but less than 20 years.

pre-nups, affairs, violence and abuse, alcohol and drugs, quirks (and some real doozies),  fighting over the kids, fighting over money (and some don't have any to fight over) just to hurt each other and fighting over the most ridiculous stuff.  i hear it every night, all the craziness.
first category, married too young? as teens or children came in the picture.  2nd category, grew apart, and many divorces because of affairs.

i feel lucky and blessed....i think though i'd probably be on the short end of the stick being married to a divorce attorney if we parted ways, ain't gonna happen.............. :D

perry, jane is a gem!!!

uhm er okay.......you are too my friend!  8)

LOL.....ya don't give chocolates to guys, or flowers or wine....scott sometimes i try to figure out the 'secret' in my household. when you figure it out let me know.......one time for valentines, i spent a considerable amount of time stamping out colored hearts and x's and o's........i shoved them in his briefcase the night before.  what i didn't know was, he had a trial the next morning.......so when he pulled out his files and notes, etc, all the cut up 'hearts' and 'x's' and 'o's came tumbling out with it......dumped out on the table, on the floor, in front of the judge, in front of his client and opposing attorney and the other client, not to mention whoever else was in the courtroom, ya know sheriff's deputy, courtroom reporter and audience of those waiting their turn to go in front of the judge.............
seriously funny stuff.......but not i guess............ :D :D :D

money? i am fortunate, it's nice, but money doesn't make a marriage or hold it together, it just gives folks a reason to bicker over......and neither is being a good cook............ :D  home made noodles or not jen.......... :D

It only take 4 words, repeated often, to make a marriage last.

"Yes, dear, I'm wrong."

46 and counting.................................................
