Hope my bees are ok, it's really too cold to check. I did slip sticky boards under my 2 open hives, one with holes in it from being used to float tomato plants on a pond, and I vented the front of the intact one.  Almost dumped that hive getting it in about a week ago.

so hug bees, hug.

Happy new year everyone

To me, today is the day of thanks for last year.  I'm still here and working part time at age 75, my wife of 55 years is still healthy and with me, all of my children and grandchildren are doing well, I have all the money and comfort that I need, (need not WANT) and to date, my life had been this bountiful.  I am so thankful and Blessed by our Creator, that my fervent prayer is for another year of the same.

Happy New Year to all, and I hope all of you are blessed and appreciate your blessings.

Oh, I forgot to mention how blessed I am to have bees and bee member of this forum and its extended family.  This in itself is a huge Blessing.  Thanks to all of you for being here, and I look forward to another year of sharing.

Lazy Shooter, what you stated is almost the same as my life only i'm 76 yrs. old, married 55 yrs.(to the same woman O:-)) two children, 5 grand kids all happy and in good health. We have been blessed? I hope everyone will be as blessed much or more. Maybe beekeepers aren't as crazy as people think after all. :D Jack
