His body temp rose to 140 degrees???  Ahh, I don't think I believe all the facts in this story.

Was thinking that too... Doesn't the brain shut down at the temp?

Helen Keller had a fever of 109 that left her blind and deaf.  I don't know what kind of effect plunging him into that water would have.  I thought that was to remove the bees.  2000 stings would mean a trip to the hospital for sure.  We are talking about China, where they illegally put garbage in baby formula and export tainted honey.

Someone has their facts wrong.....he would be dead if his body temperature rose to 140 degrees farenheit.  Still fascinating to see someone willing to do that.

The bee club I belong to hosts an annual educational day, which is June 6 this year.  The entomology professor from the local university always does a swarm demo.  He seems to always entice a member of the audience to do a bee beard.  This is only done after that person reaches into the middle of the swarm to retrieve the caged queen.  Here's your big chance for a bee beard, Jen!
