City girl . Folks only had a two acre lot and it was all grass to mow and a tiny little garden to give dad some thing to do.
All the kids near by lived on the same size lot except the one just north and Cliff had bought two lots for 4 acres and put in a in ground pool where the kids spent the summer.
Cliff is still alive at 93 and a great old guy to visit with.

 ;D  Al
your not fully dressed with out a smile.

Baker, you sound like my life. Crushed my tibia plateau & fractured tibia, surgery, crutches, fall off crutches, break wrist, more surgery but we survive don't we?  I hope they are able to break down the scar tissue with PT and you won't need a second surgery. Good luck!🚒🚒

After 3 sessions of out patient physical therapy, I would say it is brutal, exhausting and builds character.  On the plus side, I have started to regain some more movement in bending the knee.  After yesterday's session, I tried again to get behind the wheel.  Success!  I took the car for spin, went and got gas and celebrated with a chocolate malt!  Exciting.  It's been over 5 weeks since the surgery.

Bakersdozen:.... I tried again to get behind the wheel.  Success!

....Which goes to show you that the real stimulus for success and overcoming pain is motivation.
Three cheers for you BD---onward to complete recovery.
