I dont think it would even be legal to use here without removable frames.
   The biggest problem I see is that it is not easily serviced..  hard to treat bees, cant remove combs, and the size means they will swarm often, increasing the chances for the new queens to vanish on their mating flights etc..
   If providing a space for feral bees is the goal, it should have been a little larger.

I believe that would be the same problem up here. Frames have to be removable for inspection to be legal.

Yet there are people also promoting the Warre hive. I realize there are different versions of it. Ones with full frames, not a problem easy inspections. Top bars with starter or comb guide, need to use cut wire between boxes and cut comb from side of box to remove comb for inspection. Doable but a lot of hassle. Allow the bees to build comb as in feral colonies in the wild, inspections are nearly impossible.
