Winter Boredom
« on: January 05, 2014, 07:24:21 pm »
Well i tried to fire off riverbee over her avatar >:( (didn't work) Got in my safety box while at the bank the other day and brought home my coin collection (almost forgot i had it). After going through it and looking up the value of them on the computer, found out many of them are worth more with there silver content than the date they were made in, like the 1964 quarter is worth $6.00+ for the silver content, well i called a local coin shop and ask what he was buying them for, he said he would give $2.50 ea. ??? Wonder where to get the $6.00 if there supposed to be worth it? Silver dollars are $10.00 and up and i have some that are rare. Well if i can get to the therapist in the morning 9:00am i plan on trying to build a fire in the shop and work on bee equipment (painting), i hate painting. Got 7 in. of snow so far (still snowing) temp. -7 tonight, a high of 4 tomorrow  and -4 tomorrow night. Glad i put out Hay yesterday.Hope all of you stay well fed and warm. Jack

Try selling them (the coins) on craigslist or some such place.
I like plastic Jack, but we can agree on one thing, I HATE PAINTING too.  ;D
