it works great can go up to 40ft got 4ea 10 foot alu poles

That is one of the neatest ideas I've seen for a swarm catcher, bucket will always be at the right angle. Well done!

That's how I came up with it. I was with a friend of mine and was using his, a lot of time and did not make sense to me coming down. Looked in my crap pile and came up with is . When I used it the first time this year bees were 80ft up in a pine limb, shot the limb down, they end of going on the other side of the pine 60 ft up got on top of the shed with a 10ft step ladder an used all 40ft got 3/4 5gal then 1/2  large one. Best hive this year put them in a 18 frame top bar. They're doing great.
