Comb honey in a jar

I ran across this ad on Craigslist and thought it was interesting. I had never heard of or seen this done. I wonder if foundation is inserted in the jars to get the bees started, or if they just go up into the jars and start building comb.

Check out fatbeeman on utube. He has videos on how to do it.

I just use foundationless frames for my comb honey and cut to jar mouth size to stuff it in, pour honey over it. Wide mouth jars work best for my system, but I just don't have a lot of time for fancy and have a couple of people who LOVE comb honey

Could be a nice little value added product for retail sales.
