Found a little swarm today, hanging on the exact limb as the last one. Got them in a box right before dark.

Your combination of Luck and Skill and your pictures has me dreaming about that perfect swarm in my future.  :)

Of course, for me now, that perfect swarm will be three feet off the ground with the bending branch loaded with friendly bees so all I have to do is put the hive on the ground below it and shake if they don't march by themselves.  ;)

It's nice when the are on a low limb and you don't have to beat them out of a tree.
There's another tree in the yard that I caught several swarms out of for a few years. I guess now they've moved to a different tree.
