Mother's Day Poem From My Son
« on: May 08, 2016, 04:16:36 pm »

A poem.
For a relentlessly stubborn donkey artistic bee keeping supportive Mother.

 Dear Mom,
 What the hades?

I can't grow a garden,
 Or dance on time.
 I can't fix cars,
 Or speel words that rime.

 I still can't play chess,
Nor have I won any golden chattels.
 But somehow you're there.
Despite the outcome of my battles.

In the times I have fallen,
Been left black blue and crying.
 You've remained my biggest fan,
and it is your words I am recalling...

"Good times will come. The universe favors timing."
"Take a deep breath. Then get back to climbing."
"God is good, but he helps those who are trying."

"Don't be mean, and intend no harm."
"Always accept a hug, especially with two arms."
"Be kind to those around you, but son, take no poop."

 "This too will pass."
 and
"One day, you'll get over it."

 ")
 I love you mom.
