 Wait! I am not the oldest on here but my dad had a hand crank extractor in the early 40 so I know they were around than so no need for rocks.

Extractors when I was a new keep? Are you kidding? Me, Tec, and Jack would beat it with a rock in a clay pot.
Were rocks invented then?  :P

Iddee Tec, and Jack were their the day... "gave his small son a piece of comb honey on a plate. Placing the honey in a basket, the boy swung the basket around his head as children commonly do when carrying any kind of object. When Hruschka saw that the honey was thrown from the comb by the motion, the idea of the extractor was born"
