Got a call from a friend down the street, my son's voice teacher. She said she thought there was something in her chimney flopping around. I went over and disconnect the piping from the wood stove in the basement but couldn't see anything. I took the clean out plate off and sure enough, a young starling was sitting there. I couldn't reach it but just waited and it eventually came out and I caught and released it. My good deed for the day.
