They make great hats.. once the smell starts to fade.. On the up side.. no one wants to share your tent when your at the river!

actually this is out at a friend of mines  shop I do contract tool design and programming for. I got hives right across the road from them

had no idea skunks like honey. I already do Opossum poping to keep them out the coops.

Skunks are after the bees. They scratch the front of the hive and when the guards come out to investigate, the skunks grab them and eat them. Their coat is too thick to be stung through. If you raise a hive up enough so that the skunks have to stand on their back feet, it exposes their underbelly, and the bees can get at that!. That's all you usually have to do to dissuade them.

Hmmmm, how do you know that Perry? I bet that would really hurt, getting stung on the underbelly. :lol: Sorry couldn't help it buddy.  My grandfather said they ate everything when he was growing up, said he didn't like skunk, said it was to stringy.  :shock:  I'll take his word for it. :roll:  Jack
