Pain in the remaining original knee has gotten worse that the fixed one now. So despite my misgivings I am going to be cut on again August 23 to get a new right knee.

Hopefully be healed enough to be able to climb the ladders to my deer blinds. Chase the snow blower after a snow storm in November.

Alley, are they doing a total knee replacement?  I have been through that.  I don't know about climbing into deer blinds in November.  They may be too optimistic if it's a total replacement.  Just my two cents worth.

As they say: "getherdone."  I had both of my knees replaced.  There was a two year interval, and looking back, I wish I had of done it sooner.  You're only going to live until you die, and you may as well be comfortable as long as possible.  It is a wise decision.  Good luck!
