Now that was a country boy. i loved to hear him speak.
I made an order from Better Bee recently, and didn't know until they were on the phone that were located in New York. The girl on the phone asked me if she could put me on the speaker. There was no apparent reason for that, so I told her that was fine with me but that the listeners shouldn't be making fun of how their CUSTOMERS spoke. She laughed and agreed and they did put me on the speaker. We in West Texas speak sllllooooow, and we say Fanger instead of finger, and we say thank instead of think, and ranch instead of wrench, and we butcher the English Language. So, I enjoyed the Tennessee speak, but I do not consider them lesser people. The farmer was a hoot.
lazy
I guess the lesson was not to drive under the influence with a drunk woman passenger and run into a post near a bee colony. I hope that lesson is not applicable to many of our fellow citizens.
