Cutting the finger joints video

Mows through some boards quickly. I am only doing 4 boards at a time, it will do 8 at a time.

My hat is off to you sir. That jig is impressive! In less than 45 seconds you had the finger-joints for a box done, incredible.

That's a deep box too. Supers are even faster.

But I did not make this jig.

A beekeeper in MO makes and sells them. Worth every penny IMO. That stack I cut yesterday alone paid for the jig in savings.

Very nice Jig Yankee! Great job.
How tight are those joints once together? Do you notice any variability from any differences in the keys? I'm about ready to start trying to build a few frames, almost done w/ the jig, but it uses a fixed-key method, so I was wondering which was better? I like that setup, for sure!

I love this jig.

I can tweak the finger joints my adding or removing shims in my dado blades stack.  Make them fit tighter or more loose.

The depth of the joints is adjust with the height of the blade.

Only problem I have with this jig is I run out of lumber very quick.

I have the same jig as yankee.
I've cut over 800 boxes with it.
I also have a handle jig that I use on my drill press, made by the same feller that made the box joint jig.
It cuts hive handles and you can't tell them from store bought hive boxes.
