there's an episode of the reality show hillbilly blood where they capture a feral colony using a ho-made bee vac, bee suit, smoker, & hive. it's good for a laugh or 2 if you get a chance to watch it.

rober, is that the show about 2 guys that try to accomplish things the hard way?  Like, forging their own saws? and getting stranded by an old broken down pick up then they have to walk for miles through the trees to get home?

I've only seen parts of the show as I found it too ridiculous to sit thru. I only watched this one because of the bees. I think their claim to fame is building things they need on the cheap with what they have on hand which does wind up being the hard way.
