I caught a couple minutes of this company on Shark Tank.  Intrigued, I googled them.  I can't say I agree with the concept that buying an alternative to honey saves honey bee lives.  Furthermore, why would you want to eat something laden with sugar when you can have real honey?

I remember seeing them on Shark Tank, but don't remember whether they conned anyone into investing in them.  I hope not.  I was not impressed.  It is just so wrong on so many levels.

Maybe we could market Vegan Flowers.  Flowers made entirely of your imagination.  Just think of it, no nasty fertilizers involved, don't have to worry about pesticides that kill real living bugs, and you don't hurt the tender plants feelings when you pick the flower.  Just collect all of your imaginary flowers and put them into your beautiful imaginary vase.  Best of all, the flowers can be any color you can imagine!

Spelled incorrectly or not. If the product does not come from the bees is should not be called Honee, misspelled and misleading on purpose. They should be sued for misrepresenting the true natural goodness that we derive from the bees and take great pride in.

  It is just so wrong on so many levels.

How true!  Their website claims, among other claims that are not fully investigated, that every bottle purchased saves 7,500 bees.  These women have not fully done their homework!  This company is misinformed and spreading bad info.  They are under the impression that commercial beekeepers are harming their bees.  I would argue that the plight of the honey bee has been brought to the public's attention because of beekeepers.
Any other time I would be supportive of a woman owned company.  Not this time.

If these are the reason to not eat honey, then every thing that the bees are used to pollinate should be against their conscience to eat. Pollination is more exploitive to the bees than removing excess honey from managed hives.

HEY... The way I see it, is if the only thing they can come up with is pitching bee free honey to FIGHT for, then they are very sad people. There are a LOT of humanitarian issues facing the people of this world where good hearts are needed. This isn't a fight anyone should be wasting time on.
