Peeping Beeks

I started our local beekeeping club one year ago.  We sent off to the Federal Government for our Employer Identification Number (EIN) so that we could open an account with a local bank for membership dues, etc.

We named our club Golden Crescent Beekeepers Association.  That's what's on the t-shirts.

We only recently noticed that our bank has renamed us the Golden Crescent Beekeeping Association.

As we were criticizing the bank for not reading the EIN paperwork correctly, we noticed that our official name is neither beekeepers or beekeeping.  The Federal Governement, in all of it infinite wisdom, has given us a name that, upon reflection, is probably the most appropriate.

We are, in fact the GOLDEN CRESCENT BEEKPEEPING ASSOCIATION!    :o   :o

That makes us not bee - keepers, but beek - peepers.  Frankly, I do more peeking at my bees than I do keeping them, anyway.

The club voted me down, and is going to go ahead and change the name.   :P
