Life's like that.
« on: February 08, 2014, 10:50:43 am »
So, here's the deal.
Last night I'm watching my hockey team the Acadia Axemen versus St. Mary's Huskies on University TV.
6 minutes into the game, a solid check takes out 2 panes of glass on the boards.
There is a 45 minute delay while they try to fix the panels. (It's now getting late).
St. Mary's scores a goal near the end of the first period to go ahead 1-0.
The second period starts (when they should have already been playing in the third) and part way in, and with my team playing lackluster at best, St. Mary's scores and go ahead 2-0.
It is now late (for me) and with my team looking like they are on holiday, I'm tired, and shut down the TV and go to bed.
I wake up this morning to read this!  >:(

If I had watched for 29 more seconds after St. Mary's goal....................... Life's like that!

C'mon Perry--you know full well that developments like that only take place when you're not watching.  If you hadn't turned off the tv and gone to bed the game would have been dead boring.  ;D

After half time of the Super bowl (Super boring) i surfed through channels and found a recorded George Jones Concert. So it turned out to be good TV after all. :) Jack

They were just thinking of your well being, Perry.  They knew that if they started scoring, you'd  stay up and watch.  And they know you need your rest.  You can celebrate today.   ;D

Now you just watch.
Tonight is their 3rd last regular season game before the playoffs start.
They are 2 points back of 1st place UNB (University of New Brunswick).
They are playing the last place 3-21 Dalhousie Tigers tonight at home (I'll be there).
If they don't show up tonight and actually lose this game..................... >:(
