Honey Hard As Tar
« on: April 04, 2019, 09:38:58 pm »
This honey is so tight I had to slowly shove the spoon into it. I have put it into a kettle of lighty boiling water for about an hour and it came out very nice and loose. But as soon as it cooled it was very tight again.

Is it any good anymore? I would love to feed it back to my bees but I doubt that they can get anything out of it.

Maybe if you heat it up and mix with a little water it will get where they can use it. :)

Do what you do with any sugar you feed to the bees. add 50% water to it. turn it into a 50/50 sugar solution. the bees will ripen it down as they store it.
