Dozens of beehives were attacked and set on fire in Texas over the weekend in an act “beyond comprehension” that killed an estimated half a million bees, officials said.

Wow that's unbelievable.
I believe that most immigrants coming in (educated or not) understand the importance of bee's . I would thank. Not saying that's the issue here.

from link not real clear how many hives were vandalized...

Brazoria County is southwest of Houston and is being over run with development... in my younger days it was a lot of large cattle ranches... The area is always subject to heavy rains and flooding...

The last I checked the Go Fund Me had raised a bit over $7500.
