I noticed that Dadant has this as a new item for this year.
It has now warmed up here enough for me to start giving them some feed in jars. What is the advantage of this other than keeping the jars from falling over and raising the jar off of the frames?
Does anyone see any problem with just placing the jar directly on top of the frames? I know that the frames will cover some of the holes, but it would be really easy to feed just setting it there. I will probably build something like this because it seems to be a pretty cool idea.
