A relative, from Arkansas, posts frequently on Facebook. Her usual topics revolve around her children, which have lots of personality. Here is a recent conversation she had with her middle child, aged 7:
Jack: "Mama, what is your least favorite book."
Me: "Redeeming Love"
J: "Why?"
Me: "Many reasons but mainly bc I am just not a fan of romance books."
J: "But, Mama, love sells! You should totally write a love story! Make it historical fiction about you and Dad!" *pause* "...but throw in some flying monkeys bc you and Dad are really boring people!"
You can't make this up.
