Instead of paying UPS to ship, I would have hitched up a trailer and drove to Pennsylvania to pick those bees up.

The article calls them "shipping boxes" but my guess is they were packaged bees.  I have gotten numerous emails from Mann Lake advertising packaged bees. I am surprised any of the bees were left alive.
