Glad you made the time. You are going to be busy. From the winter losses I have heard about, the suppliers will all sell out this spring and have orders unfilled.

Agree with Iddee.
Talking with others close by I am getting numbers of 30 to 50% losses..  not pretty.
   Glad you finally jumped in!!!
I like to think I am ready for spring, but am also quite sure there will be some sort of mad rush to get something done I forgot about...

I tried to focus on Spring earlier this winter and decided to build a 4-chamber mating nuc. I also wanted to have a concrete plan for raising queens before the weather warms. But alas, the weather has turned unseasonably warm and my bees are already flying around 6 weeks earlier than last year. Spring has sprung a surprise...yet again. Time keeps on slipping into the future.

Spring can't get here soon enough for me.  Only in the low 40's and cloudy now, but might get up to the mid 50's in the middle of the week.  I still have frames to put together, but at least I have enough done to get started with this year.
