That is awesome!  I also love how a local news outlet covered this; it shows how much people are getting interested in native bees.  I do want to point out an error in the article, which mistaken labels Heriades carinata as the giant resin bee.  This species is a resin bee, but not the giant resin bee, which is Megachile sculpturalis, which is actually an invasive species.
