OK, If there is still anyone on the planet that doesn't think Texas is a little strange, I offer the following ad that appeared in Sunday's Waco paper as proof.



That's right, a Funeral Home is offering a luncheon on Valentine's Day for widows only "for food, fun, fellowship, and door prizes." Try not to think about a funeral home door prize or, for that matter, a funeral home lunch menu.  :o

Maybe it's just me?

I think its a SCAM by the funeral homes owner, who lost his wife under some VERY STRANGE circumstances!!! By coincidence, she died on Valentines day one year ago!!!      (Play twilight zone music here!)

The funeral homes owner also resembles the late Vincent Price. "Welcome to a wonder fright filled night of food, fun, and drink……….ha ha ha ha ha !"  :'(

At first I thought it quite depressing: a bunch of widows on Valentine's Day. And, then I thought it was a bit creepy. And then I thought, "What if they serve liver and onions for lunch?" Eeeeoooooh.  :laugh:
