I was preparing to head back to the yard since the temp reached 63 degrees today, the highest since last fall. I wanted to see some action. I heard buzzing by my trash cans. Yeap, some girls trash digging. I had just popped a caramel Nip candy in my mouth when I saw the bees. I pulled the candy out and it took all of two seconds for her to find it. She then started crawling between the fingers on the hand that was holding the camera. That tickles so bad!
It was all I could do to keep my hand still. For any new keeps, this is a good way to get used to the bees crawling on your skin. It helps me reduce the natural reaction to jerk away which always ends up hurting you and her. Disclaimer: don't get too close to your hives with too much sweetness as you may get more than you bargained for. Oh, and make sure your candy is bee free before popping it back in your mouth. Ha!
