OK Iddee, you wanted pictures?
This is what I found yesterday at one of my yards.  ;D
I had to do some shoveling and tramping with my feet to clear at least some of the snow away.

Thanks, but those pics are as close as I want to get.  Ten years in Illinois was all I wanted of that kind of weather.

Thats still a lot of snow, and almost April.....    bees are still alive too...  Yep, that tears it!!!   The duke is gone, time to replace him.

Those snow drifts and accumulated snow is a great protection from the wind and is Canadian insulation. Every little bit helps when it comes to hive survivability.
