46 years ago today she came home with me to stay. It's been a great 46 years.

Wow, iddee. That is great. You don't hear of marriages lasting that long anymore. I will celebrate 30 years with my better half come October.

Impressive woman to put up with you for so long Iddee!!!   ;D
   Congrats on 46!!!

I married my best friend and ruined a perfectly good friendship. Married another lady and were in our 26th year. This is the one I claim as the MEAN one all the time. As much as I pick on her, I can't imagine life without her. I wouldn't be where I am if she wasn't in my life.
She came home today and told me she just bought out one of the beekeepers that lost all of his hives over the winter. 12 frame Dadant extractor, two de capping tanks, two stainless honey storage tanks, smokers, suits, 30 plus hives, etc, etc..  So when I make reference to how mean she is, just consider the source of the information as being full of poo.   ;D

I hope I can make it 46 years without her choking the crap out of me. Sometimes I wonder.
Congratulations, Iddee.

After 46 years together, you (the plural you) have reached the point where you both feel like you're one.   That's about as good as it can be.
Congrats to you (figure out if that is the singular or the plural "you").

Efmesch, you certainly have a way with words. Very well said. I bet you're a pleasure to talk with.
