I don't really mind pictures being thumbnails on the forum view but I sure wish there was a way to click next and scroll through them instead of closing the new tab that pops up and clicking on the next one. The other forums have this feature so I know it can be done.

Agree with DLMKA, it would be a nice feature to have.

Different forums use different hosting sites for pics. I don't know if our hosting site has that feature or not. Admin will have to answer that one.

As Iddee stated,  it is dependent on the image hosting.

Images are not stored here in the forum as they take too much disk space and it can become very costly to the forum.     So images that show in the forum are actually just linked from an offsite image hosting firm (ImageShack, PhotoBucket, PostImage, or even members personal sites).    Some of these hosting firms have album view capability (what you are looking for) and some do not.   We have no control over how these hosting firms display photos to users.     So it comes down to what image hosting a member chooses to use when sharing photos.

I can say, that our forum software does allow linking to full sized images if a member chooses to do so, this eliminates the need for any new window to display full size images.

To post a youtube video, just paste the url in the window:

Code: [Select]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bo0HwJQR3Q
to post a picture, you need to have it posted in photobucket or flickr or some image storage site (most are free, all you have to do is register).

Then put the image url between
Code: [Select]
[img] [/img]

The down side of the current operation is that when the hosting of the images changes, the URL is no longer valid and you see nothing on this site after that change.
