YES Zweefer! Isn't this the coolest marking tool Ever!
Lazy, I've been handling queens in my hands for well, years. It's scary at first. I practiced with drones. But it would take too much vid to show how I did it and put the queen back in her small wooden cage to dry. Anyway, I've found that the last 5 years or so, my hands just aren't flexible as they used to be, and my grip is undependable. So!.. I got one of these yellow markers, watched vids, and read reviews on Amazon. And it sure takes the fear out of marking your queens. highly recommend, practice on drones.
Like Lazy, I mark my queens to be able to spot them quickly. Quite a few years ago I asked Tecumse (sp)
if his lab ever did a test on what color shows up the best in a hive, he said hands down Hot Pink! Well I'm not a pink person, but I gave it a try and man o' man that bright pink pops out like a light bulb! I use Poska paint as well.
