Don Felder foreigner and styx concert
« on: May 15, 2014, 05:56:00 pm »
Went last night and watched Don Felder,  Foreigner and Styx on the new summer tour. Don Felder former member of the eagles and co writer of "Hotel California" plays all eagles songs. All 3 bands sounded great. Now here is the great thing they are doing. My wife and I got in free to the concert and spent time back stage with about 20 other Shriners. The bands on this tour are asking Shriners, a local high school choir (chosen to perform with foreigner on stage for the song "I want to know what love is") and another charity to sale their CD's between sets at the concert. CD are 20 bucks each with $5.00 for ever sale going to the shrine hospital another $5.00 to the chosen high school choir and  $5.00  to the  other Charity. which totals 75% of dollars going to charity. We sold 846 CDs last night so the first show alone brought in $4000.00 for the shriners hospital in st Louis. Great music and a good time. If they come to your area go revisit the 80's

None left it is a promotion the groups managers are handling. They took what was left to the Oklahoma city show tonight
