  After four major back surgeries i don't lift any full boxes of any size i will move half the frames and then the box even do inspections this way. Its either this way or stop keeping bees for me . I use one deep and then mediums after that.  I will use my tractor to move hives when needed .Everyone has their own way of working the bees none of them wrong just personal choice.
