A neighbor to one of my bee yards passed away (two weeks ago) and his wive had an Auction today, selling everything and moving back to Arizona to be with her children. Don't think she will accept the bid on the 3 bedroom ranch style home, rap around porch on two sides, with full basement and 44 open acres of land (the holding bid was 175,000.00. The house would be worth more than that if it was closer to town? I went down to the creek bottom to check my hives and when i came back by the auction they were selling some of Bob's guns, i wanted a keepsake to remember him by and ended up buying a 25 cal. pistol, a Raven p26 (automatic) chrome plated and a box of ammo for $185.00, probably gave to much for it?? and his 4x4 Bull Dog (Mule), he used it to mow ( had a pull behind mower) and haul fire wood in with it.I didn't get to see his wife before she leaves, they said she went into town with her girl friend, that she couldn't stand to see all there stuff being sold off.Very sad, they are good people and good friends.
