In bad taste but with this story it reminds me of all you need to do in a African bee attack is to be able to run faster than the next guy. I wonder how many out there don't know that what you need to do is move away from the hive and do it as fast as possible. Don't walk but run. Glad to hear that guys are doing fine though.

a bit close to home.  I am confounded by the number of folks who either knowingly or unwittingly promote the rearing of africanized honey bee.  I myself consider 'small cell' to be something of a back door attempt at getting africanized bees accepted.  I really really wonder if these same folks know the damage they are doing to the industry??  After such reports as this every grandmother who knows of a bee tree any where within 1000 foot of their residence of park will be wring the sympathy towel trying to convince me it is my duty to remove this 'threat'.  The removal folks will be busy, tired and rich.
