alrighty....cheesecloth..........depends on what you what want for a final product........?
i would not use or recommend cheese cloth to strain honey. (better use is for straining wax).
paint strainer bags are a great initial straining for honey. when i extract, the honey comes out of the extractor through a nylon filter bag similar to the paint strainer bag, and also a double sieve. once settled, i strain once more, or once additionally, with a very fine nylon material purchased from my supplier; the strained honey is crystal clear.
