frogs, toads, crickets, cicadas in late summer months, mostly owls and sometimes the coyotes. the occasional raccoon and family and/or possum deciding to ramble across the back porch and knock things over......and once in a great while a bear......
lots of great sounds in the country....... sometimes just as still as can be, and i can hear the river, love the 'sounds' of the river.....i like it....
many times during summer months we will light a fire in our fire pit, mostly on weekends, and i will fall asleep in a great lounge chair fireside. i usually wake very early in the morning long before daybreak to find someone has covered me with a blanket.....
