Very interesting Perry. I'm guessing this is a type of crush, drain and strain method.

well, perry, you can put a few skeps worth of honey comb in there and mash it all up.   Let us know how it went for you :)
My advice: worth price charged :)

I have one and use it for spot seeding. I bet it's hard to use for a squirt that has to hold there hands above there head to operate it, but they could keep an eye on the hopper to see if they need more seed.  Jack

When I was a pup and replanting in my grandpa's field I'd liked to have one of those. I used a broomstick and a shoulder bag. ;)

hehe  There were planters for the "big" fields.. but for the smaller fields we also got the broom handles.. but no shoulder bags.. we got the canvas nail pouches from the local hardware store...   good grief.. Memory LANE Trip without drugs or alcohol...   Party line, Making butter with a churn, Making Ice cream, Packing loose hay in the loft, using a horse to pull it UP to the loft..  The forks tripped and the hay dropped..   There is not an INCH of your body that does not get chaff stuck on or in it, no matter how well you are dressed..  we learned to START with no shirt and belts as tight as we could get them and still breathe.  Then.. there is cleaning out last years corn from the corn bins..  Pitty the guy that does not tape his pant legs..  AFTER you laugh......
