Oh dear.  It is a cruelty to cause them to suffer just to stay near us. But it is so hard to let them go.

I feel for you, friend. We got our first deer of the season yesterday and processed it today. Brought back memories of my buddy that went last July. He would pull on the hide to help us skin them, then fill up on the tidbits we would toss him. He loved deer season. It was hard to do one without him here.

Sorry for your loss perry. Pets are family and sometimes pets are even closer to your heart than family. Its always hard to let go.
