OA new queen

I released a couple of queens into queenless hives.  I would like to Vaporize them, should have done it before.  How long would you wait to give a treatment?

The OA treament doesn't hurt or bother the bees. I'de go for it  ;D

I would wait at least a week or two before i did. Make sure she is settled in and accepted and all is well. Mites climb into cells just before they are capped anyway so you won't be missing much.

I would also wait, when introducing a new queen into a hive and then "funny" things happen to the hive also, the majority seem to blame it on the new queen and sometimes will kill her off.

Thats kind of what I was thinking, but I am new at this treatment and pretty unsure with the effects. Wondering about swarms also.  I hate to mess with them, but it sure seems like it would bee the most effective.  Maybe a couple of rounds starting in about a week.  What is the timeline on when brood is capped, seven days?

yep yep..     all of the above.   What Jen said is true, but in the event they decide to blame strange happenings on the queen, a week or so wait is in order!
