I have rarely ever put pollen patties or dry pollen on my hives, when i check my hives in the fall the bottom box (most of my hives are 2 deeps) will have 4 to 5 almost full frames of pollen and most years the maples, willow trees, and Dandelions are budding out in the 3rd week of Febuary. I'm going to start several nucs in April and i have top feeders with 2 compartments in them and thought i would feed some dry pollen. I have 50lbs of dry brewers yeast that i bought from Dadant or ML? Like Jacobs said, i think iddee said? i cup sugar (put in blender) i cup soy flour, 8 cups brewers yeast, and mix it together? correct me if i'm wrong. Jack
