the superbowl
« on: February 01, 2015, 04:32:26 pm »
Its Superbowl Sunday the game is about ready and it looks like green bay will be starting the game on the 50yard line.  3 rows back from the field.  It don't get any better than that for a packers fan

It's a game you play when the skunk gets into your basement while extracting. I prefer mediums. :-[

The leafs have some of the most expensive tickets and yet are one of the worst teams, and still sell out every game! Go figure!

perry, that's cuz the leafs fans aren't all fair weather fans.........just like any other sports team.
i follow the min wild. i follow the brewers, i don't care how poorly either team does, i just enjoy the game.  the leafs sell out, like many others, because of the fans that aren't on the fair weather side.

I think New England will win it this year. If they win, will probably be their last championship for a long time. Buffalo is the up and coming team in that division with them. Seattle is lucky to be in the Superbowl this year. Green bay gave it.

Toronto is a good hockey town. There fans deserve a better team. I cant figure out why that city cant win a Stanley cup. Buffalo Sabers are the worst team in the league right now. A couple more years they  should be better. They have 4 first round draft picks this year. Farm system looks good too.

Baseball I love the Cleveland Indians. I watch every game. They don’t have the money to compete with the big markets. The brewers are the same way.

I expected Green Bay to beat New England in the superbowl.. I was quite astonished the Seahawks beat them.. as it turned out, it was a really good superbowl. Score swapping all the way to to the end..
After living in Maine for 17 years, I am still a Patriots fan, been to foxboro, but MUCH prefer the TV, no crowds and my seat isnt sticky..  Being a Pats fan, I still expected them to lose..   Once Brady gets hit about three to four times he starts to cry, and thats usually the game... but somehow he managed to not whine or throw a tantrum, and the Pats pulled a win off by the SKIN of their teeth....   AWESOME football game right there.

"and my seat isnt sticky.." speaking of that Lazy, While at the Redwings game I thought my wife was abusing the alcohol. Turns people a few rows up were spilling their beers and it was traveling down from above. At $9.50 each, that's some serious coin to flip over.

I watched more of this Super Bowl than I usually do.  Very tight right up to the end.  Good game til the Seahawks coach gave it away.  Bad Bad Call

I saw some sports show talking about the call to pass.  Apparently, statistically speaking, Lynch had failed to get to the goal line 4 times out of 5 from the 5 yard line or less.  Maybe it wasn't such a bad call...

Of course, as a Pats fan, I think Carroll made a great play call. :D

The best line I've seen so far is, "Pete Carroll finally won a Super Bowl for the Patriots".  :-\
