Should I be worried?

Even newer newbie here......we just installed two hives and we have had our suits all "pooped" up.  We too were in a panic when we came outside and found dead bees all around our yard, stuck to the house, etc.  Since there was poop everywhere we got concerned too.  I contacted my bee group leader and he said this was normal.  It has been cold here and I think their cleansing flights took them too far out from the hive and they succumbed to the cold.  We are so thankful for a support network.

Dysentery is not a usual sign of nosema ceranae. It is a sign of nosema apis, however, that strain of nosema has generally been replaced by ceranae.
