They were really great musicians---I say this after about 50 years in retrospect.  I don't know how many times I've heard this song, but until now I never listened to the words in their entirety.  All that registered in my mind as I listened was the word "Help!"

Now, 50 years later I can only say  "how true and apropriate".---for ME.

But you, Perry have a long career AHEAD of you.  Keep well and save the song for at least another 25 years.  :)

Why is that your new theme song, Perry?

I saw Paul McCartney perform last night on the SNL 40 year anniversary.  The voice is starting to go and the high notes are a little too high for him any more.  It happens.  Paul Simon wasn't hitting the high one's either.

Ef- "They were really great musicians---I say this after about 50 years in retrospect.

I am still a great fan of the Beatles! They weren't afraid to break the rules in the music industry, and their tunes have withstood the test of time. Ageless ~

We only have two left, Paul and Ringo... and they are still doing well  :) :) :)

........... :D  me too jack, when spring comes our river is going to be high and mighty and i am quite certain i will have different scenery on my river front.
i just hope we don't get a flash of warm days where all the snow melts on top and comes roaring down from above, like we had happen a few years ago.  we did some work up through the woods to fix it, so far so good.

I watched it, too.  I recorded it, but I wasn't too impressed with the show.  But I think you're right about Paul and Paul, though.

On another thought - I think that's probably one of the reasons Led Zeppelin won't do a reunion tour.  Robert Plant doesn't sing too well nowadays, either.

Madonna too! Give it up and Find Another Genre Girl!

But even tho Paul and Robert Plant's voices are not as strong, I still listen watch and listen to them, they are legendary.

My wife actually went to high school with Madonna in Rochester, MI.  She doesn't care much for her (to put it mildly), but she said her younger brother was a nice guy.
